Case Study: MTV Staying Alive Foundation Shuga Auditions Set up and Branding. 

MTV Staying Alive Foundation was organizing auditions for the highly anticipated return of the popular TV series, Shuga. To ensure a smooth and successful event, they required a well-planned setup and a comprehensive list of materials, merchandise, and equipment. E&M Creative Agency was tasked with providing the necessary creative elements to enhance the event’s branding, create a welcoming atmosphere, and streamline the audition process. The goal was to minimize waiting times for auditionees under the Nairobi sun and generate excitement for the upcoming series.

The creative elements enhanced the event’s branding, created a memorable experience, and contributed to a successful outcome. 1. Brand Analysis: 

  • Talent Selection: We sought an MC and DJ who resonated with the target audience and created a high-energy and inclusive atmosphere. 

2. Creative Concept: 

  • Visual Identity: We created a visual identity that incorporated the MTV Staying Alive Foundation’s branding elements while adding a fresh and engaging touch. 

3. Material Design: 

  • Printed Materials: We designed banners, step-and-repeat media banners, mic cubes, signage, and other printed materials that incorporated the event’s theme and visual identity. 
  • Merchandise: We designed branded T-shirts, hoodies, tote bags, and other merchandise that reflected the event’s theme and served as promotional items. 

4. Event Setup and Coordination: 

  • On-Site Design: We oversaw the on-site design and setup, ensuring that the event space was visually appealing and aligned with the creative concept. 
  • Equipment Coordination: We coordinated the rental and setup of necessary equipment, such as tents, stages, sound systems, and lighting.
